Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars®- Investing in the future leaders of Boyden and Hull Communities!

The Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® program began in April of 2010.  The Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® organization is a non-profit group that functions as an entity under the Boyden-Hull Education Foundation in association with Scholarship America® , the parent company of Dollars for Scholars®.  The Boyden-Hull Education Foundation has been in existence since the late 1990's to assist the Boyden-Hull CSD with rising cost to incorporate technologies into the classrooms.  One of the primary goals of the Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® Program is to help provide financial assistance to Boyden-Hull graduating seniors who wish to further their education at a post-secondary instution (2 year or 4 year institutes).

From the beginning, the Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® program has had wonderful partnerships with area businesses.  We were blessed by Demco Manufacturing of Boyden in our first 4 years as they matched up to $25,000 each year in our fundraising efforts.  The Citizens State Bank of Boyden has also matched other fundraising events to help our fundraising efforts.  In January of 2013, the Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® program invested $166,490.78 into a Multi-Sector Investment Program with American Investment & Trust to help increase the money raised in it's first few years in existence and to continue this scholarship program well into the future.

The Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® currently supports 6 - $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors while managing other endowments and pass through scholarships.  We continue to partner with businesses and families as we grow in scholarships available to our graduating seniors.  It is a goal of the Boyden-Hull Dollars for Scholars® program to continue to support aspiring graduates in their dreams of continued education.  We hope to provide scholarships to all deserving Boyden-Hull graduates in their pursute of a post-secondary degree.  It is also a goal to create on-going or renewable scholarships for past graduates to support the Boyden-Hull graduate during their sophomore, junior and senior years in their college years.
